Yost: “A little bigger bruise than I’m used to.”

Ohio AG Dave Yost has been speaking out in the aftermath of his dropping out of the Ohio Governor’s race against Vivek Ramaswamy– or, perhaps more accurately, being forced out of the Ohio Governor’s race against Vivek Ramaswamy.

Yost was quoted by the States Newsroom (i.e., lefty) Ohio publication Ohio Capital Journal about what happened:

“The party exists to win elections, and it’s not a pretty game… I’m used to getting bruised by the political process. This was just a little bit bigger bruise that I’m accustomed to.”

It sounds like Yost could be thinking about running for some other office, despite his failure to keep the Governor’s race open:

“Eventually I will make a decision… What I can tell you is I’m not prepared to go quietly down into that good night and hope to remain active in fighting for Ohio and America’s future.”
