Trump-friendly NY Post sh*ts on Vance’s “no pictures” request

As you may have heard, earlier today, a man armed with a hammer allegedly broke into JD Vance’s Cincinnati home.

William DeFoor, 26 yeas old, was charged with obstructing official business, criminal damaging or endangering, criminal trespass, and vandalism.

In the aftermath of news of the attack breaking, Vance issued this statement:

“I appreciate everyone’s well wishes about the attack at our home. As far as I can tell, a crazy person tried to break in by hammering the windows. I’m grateful to the secret service [sic] and the Cincinnati police for responding quickly.

“We weren’t even home as we had returned already to DC. One request to the media: we try to protect our kids as much as possible from the realities of this life of public service. In that light, I am skeptical of the news value of plastering images of our home with holes in the windows.”

The Trump-friendly NY Post appears to be having none of that, and went ahead and posted pictures of the broken windows anyway.

Not being a tabloid, we won’t repost them here.

But we will giggle at how little a Trump-friendly outlet thinks of Vance’s request.

Note: Other Trump-friendly media has taken a pass on going the Post’s route. Newsmax, Just The News, and Real America’s Voice posted about the break-in, but without any pictures. At the time of writing, neither Breitbart nor American greatness had posted about the attack at all.
