National Democrats just can’t quit Sherrod Brown, even after his thumping by Bernie Moreno in his Ohio Senate re-election campaign last Tuesday.

Yesterday, progressive rock star reporter David Dayen noted that Brown is being mooted as the next Democratic National Committee Chair.

Then, we had Brown being asked already about whether he will run for now-VP-elect JD Vance’s about-to-be-open Senate seat.

It’s enough to make us start humming the theme music from Brokeback Mountain.
