Jim Tressel to take over as Ohio’s new Lieutenant Governor

Hey, hey, sports fans! Right off the back of the Super Bowl, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has announced that a huge name in football history will take over as Ohio’s new Lieutenant Governor.

DeWine selected former Ohio State national championship-winning football coach Jim Tressel.

Tressel has been rumored for decades now to have an interest in politics. Now, he’s officially a politician, and not just a backer of Ohio politicians (like, say, former Rep. Anthony Gonzalez, one of his Ohio State alums).

Tressel also served as president of Youngstown State and VP at University of Akron.

Now, let’s see what his name ID and favorability is versus Vivek Ramaswamy’s.
